Medical Product Online Store Promotion Case Study: ROI up to 132%
Niche: Medical products.
Results: Traffic increased by 37.18%, income increased by 23.2% and ROMI of 132%.
The Client
In late April, we began cooperating with an online store that sells medical products. Prior to contacting us, the customer had been working on site promotion with other agencies, but they weren't pleased with the results. We obtained the link profile which was built by another studio. We don’t have information about gross profits before our cooperation. The client had not been tracking the effectiveness of their investments in advertising (ROMI).
The Challenge
The goals of this project were to:
- increase website traffic;
- boost sales amounts;
- reduce expenditure on the old link profile.
The Solution
In the beginning, the client remade their website by completely changing the url-address structure, design, directory and filters structure on the site. All changes were introduced under our guidance and carried out precisely on the website with the new structure.
A full technical audit of the site was conducted. This included internal link structure analysis, website check for broken links and different duplicates (text, meta tags, headings), and other work on analyzing the technical components.
Next, high-quality texts for the main landing pages were written, and unique meta tags and titles for all pages were compiled. As the client's site developers were involved in the implementation of all changes, the process took some time. While the SEO audit was being done, we engaged in analysis of link weights and accurate cleaning. Spending on the old link profile was reduced by more than 35%.
To attract more traffic, a thorough semantic core was composed. Emphasis was not placed on specific product categories. Instead, work was carried out on all types in the complex.
The semantic kernel was constantly expanded through Serpstat and adjusted based on the conversion data. The site implemented an internal linking system developed by Netpeak. Phrases in relinking were continually updated. To boost site traffic, a large list of keywords was composed.
The Results
- Traffic from search increased by 37.18%.
- Income increased by 23.2%.
- ROMI of 132% was achieved.
